Music to Rival That Heard
on Any Stage, -- Anywhere!

Our  growing  audience  of  listeners  each  month confirms  our  assertion  that there's a need for a  wholesome place to listen to the incredible grassroots music talent of the region.

Given our WTB/TMA  family-oriented venue for young musicians to gain experience, exposure  and  encouragement,we are growing some powerful musical presence!

GENERATIONS AND GENRES MEET & JOIN FORCES

We strive to provide the much-needed venue for a broad range of talent
-- composing, performing, recording, promoting --
. . . drawing talent here to gain the audience & support needed.

Our get-togethers are regularly attended by seasoned professionals from such well-known groups as
The  Batten  Family,  Flatland,  Ironweed,  Hanks & Company,  Springcreek Bluegrass Band,
No Limit, Triple L, Vintage, Sweetwater  Medicine  Wagon,  Simple Gifts
and other notables from our national and regional music world.

We also  welcome  beginning  musicians and newcomers to jamming.
A new feature growing in popularity at our jams is the beginner's slow jam which
provides an opportunity for newcomers to ease into jamming.
If you wish to participate in a slow jam, please let us know at the
registration desk upon your arrival.

It's the greatest situation in the world to indulge your passion for music
and to "share the love" with others of the same persuasion.

This positive atmosphere -- where the pros lend support and encouragement to the amateurs,
and where pros gain support and exposure for their work --
is just the sort of environment where wonderful things happen . . .
And, each month lots more people are discovering each time how wonderful it is!

Airplane Flying

Long-Distance Loyalty

Long-distance travelers from FAR outside the Lubbock area  continue to regularly attend our jams. We've had international students, visitors from distant states, RVers who stay over the weekend, shoppers who plan their monthly visit to Lubbock and book a hotel, long-drive regulars from New Mexico and distant points in Texas, a private pilot who flies in, and even one group of airline employees who planned their route to end in Lubbock for the jam! They came via Washington, Florida, and El Paso!  Gotta love the kind of loyalty that keeps 'em comin' from near and far! . . . The support from Lubbock and out-lying communities as well as those long-distance attendees is the life-blood of the organization.

Every session continues to see newcomers attending for the first time.  We're glad for the continued wide interest. Since we rely on E-mail, the website and word-of-mouth for our communications, it's especially great that all of you do such a good job getting the word out. It would appear that the WTB/TMA grapevine is well-greased!
