Long-Distance
Loyalty
Long-distance travelers from FAR outside
the Lubbock area continue to regularly attend our jams. We've had international students, visitors from distant
states, RVers who stay over the weekend, shoppers who plan their monthly visit to Lubbock and book a hotel, long-drive regulars
from New Mexico and distant points in Texas, a private pilot who flies in, and even one group of airline employees who
planned their route to end in Lubbock for the jam! They came via Washington, Florida, and El Paso! Gotta love the
kind of loyalty that keeps 'em comin' from near and far! . . . The support from Lubbock and out-lying communities as
well as those long-distance attendees is the life-blood of the organization.
Every session continues to see newcomers
attending for the first time. We're glad for the continued wide interest. Since we rely on E-mail, the website and word-of-mouth
for our communications, it's especially great that all of you do such a good job getting the word out. It would appear that
the WTB/TMA grapevine is well-greased!
